Abortion-Justified or not?

It is a very interesting topic, since I barely write on such things, but I think we must certainly look upon such social issues and discuss in detail about them to not only increase are knowledge, but find better solutions for the future.

Let me get started at the keyword here, and that is 'Abortion'. What exactly is an abortion? It is the expulsion of human fetus.
Abortion, in other words is also termed as 'murder' by many people all over the world. They believe it is killing a human. The question occurs, that is it really 'human'? Pregnancy has 3 trimesters, the first one being from week 1 till week 12. And during that period, the fetus is just a fetus with no ability to think, and no conscious. So can the fetus be termed as a 'child'? No.
It is true that that no one in this world has been given the authority to end a life, as that right lies in the hands of the Creator only, but one most also consider certain situations which make abortion necessary.
It is the woman who has to carry the child in her womb for 9 months, and it is her who has to go through the suffering of giving birth to the child. So doesn't the mother have the choice to decide whether she wants to carry that child or not?
Nobody has to do that task for her, and hence, it is totally unquestionable as to who gets to make the decision. Although if we think about it in a much more 'ethical' way, aborting might not always be the right decision if there is no valid reason available.

A woman getting raped, incest, fetal deformity, mother's health being at risk, and other issues that will be discussed further are such reasons which might force a woman to abort her fetus.

If a girl is raped, then she is not at fault so why keep a constant reminder of that dreadly event in front of her eyes, when she has the choice of not to do so? Killing the fetus might sound draconian, but by shadowing the girls choice.. THAT is draconian as well! Let us go through another example of incest. Incest is sexual intercourse between close relatives, and it is a form of child abuse as well. There have been many cases which have resulted in unwanted pregnancies. The Huntington Case is an example of it and Journal Gazette states,

'She told Huntington police and investigators with the Huntington County prosecutor’s office that her father began having sex with her.

Sometimes he told her he would pay her for certain sex acts or intercourse, and other times he would use sex as a form of punishment, such as for losing her job, drinking or bringing him methamphetamine instead of crack cocaine when he sent her out to buy drugs for him.'

No wonder this is inhumanity, so why should the victim suffer for something that is not even her fault?

Medical conditions are also amongst those reasons which are acceptable for an abortion. Sometimes the mothers health is at risk and therefore the only solution for that is abortion. It wouldnt make sense, that putting the mothers life in danger would be better than to abort the child.

Technology has advanced greatly and now it could also be determined whether the child is going to have a certain disability or not. In that case, yet again it would sound stupid to give birth to a child that has a sickness with him. This would not only hurt the child but also the parents. If you're aware that, suppose, your child is going to suffer from a severe disability, then for how long are you going to take care of him? For how long will you be always there for him? You never know what happens, so would you want him to suffer in this world when there is no one to look after him?

I guess we all know the answer to that.

Ethically speaking, yes, it is wrong to get abortion if its cause of your own mistake. That is pre marital pregnancy. If its YOUR mistake, then no one has given you the right to kill that innocent life!
Women of today have become so much more career-oriented, that they prefer abortions over giving birth.
God has given us all a brain, right? Then why not take protection and simply avoid the consequence?

HAVE SAFE SEX, GOD DAMN IT! Is that hard to understand? When you dont want to have a baby, then why do something which will cause one!

To sum it all up, what I'd say is that abortion is justified to a certain extent, only is a valid reason is stated, otherwise it is not only ethically wrong, but socially wrong as well! Cause thats the way it is..
